Can anyone of my Juniata friends believe it has been 18 years today that my dad passed away. Where does the time go and why does evertyhing have to be so hard. I often wonder what has happened to the world we grew up in. just the other day I was at a store and held the door open for the person behind me, yet the person in front of me saw my hands were full and let the door slam in my face. Has is become a society of I only do for me what I want. It has become a world where children as well as adults have no manners. If we did that in our youth we would of gotten grounded for life where is the respect we always had for each other. My dad would never believe what this world is now, as I am sure all the other great dads who have passed but gave there all to the club and teams of Juniata Park I sure do miss those days and the neighbors and friends we all were here. :!cry:

Just came across this site. What great memories growing up in Juniata! Heard it is not the same anymore. Born at Temple Hospital, went to Hopkinson & moved away in 1980 to Bucks County. Now live in Delaware. Hope to drive up some time to check out the old neighborhood.
